BACK ON TAP!

Hall & Woodhouse Returns to Dorset Seafood Festival.

The Dorset Seafood Festival is delighted to welcome Hall & Woodhouse back as a Silver Sponsor as the Festival returns to Weymouth Harbour on 4th & 5th July. This year marks an exciting moment for the Festival as it returns to its original harbour setting and is free for visitors to attend, bringing seafood, local producers and coastal food culture back to the heart of the town.

A long-time supporter of the Festival, Dorset brewer Hall & Woodhouse will once again run the Badger Beer bar, serving a range of its well known ales alongside the incredible seafood available across the event.

Visitors will be able to enjoy Badger Fursty Ferret and a selection of Outland Beers including the new Outland Pilsner. Outland Roca Tierra, Outland Stout, Outland West Coast IPA, and Outland Hazy IPA will also be available over the Festival weekend. Badger and Outland Beers are brewed at the family-owned brewery in Blandford Forum, where Hall & Woodhouse has crafted beer for nearly 250 years.

One of the most anticipated moments of the weekend will be the return of the Badger Beer and cheese tastings on the Chef Demo Stage.

Led by Mark Woodhouse, the popular sessions pair Badger beers with carefully chosen cheeses, giving visitors the chance to explore how different styles of beer work with food. The tastings have become a firm Festival favourite, regularly drawing full crowds keen to sample the combinations.

Anthony Woodhouse, Chairman of Hall & Woodhouse, said: “We are delighted to be back sponsoring the Dorset Seafood Festival. It’s a fantastic event and a real celebration of Dorset’s food and drink. The beer and cheese tastings with Mark are always a highlight for us, they’re hugely popular and the seats fill up very quickly. We’re especially pleased to see the Festival return to the harbour this year, which feels like the perfect setting for such a great weekend.”

Festival Director,  Pippa Gibb commented: “Hall & Woodhouse has been a fantastic supporter of the Dorset Seafood Festival for many years and we are thrilled to have them back again. Badger Beer has become part of the Festival experience and the tastings with Mark Woodhouse are a brilliant way for visitors to experience beer pairing and a great example of Dorset food and drink working together.”

With its return to the harbour and free entry for visitors, the Dorset Seafood Festival promises a lively weekend celebrating the county’s fishing heritage, outstanding seafood and the producers who make Dorset such a special place to eat and drink.
