Get Involved with the Festival

The award-winning Dorset Seafood Festival attracts nationwide media attention and approximately 10,000 visitors from across the country over Festival Weekend.

That’s a fantastic opportunity to introduce new customers to your business, or to remind everyone how delicious your products or how great your gifts are. Perhaps you’re involved in the maritime sector or in conservation and are looking to talk to Festival visitors about how they can help ensure a more sustainable future for our oceans. Whatever your ambitions, we’d love to have you join us for the weekend.

Exhibiting at the Festival

Our amazing market stallholders are the heart of the Festival. Last year close to 50 businesses got involved, ranging from seafood and other artisan food and drink companies, specialist retailers, arts and crafts producers, travel firms, charities, and organisations involved in maritime and environmental welfare.

Subsequent research showed an average spend of over £45 per Festival visitor, with approximately 30% Dorset residents and 70% visiting from further afield.

2024 pitches are available Saturday and Sunday inclusive. A limited number of pitches have the option to purchase electrical supply. Availability is subject to demand. One parking ticket per exhibitor may be purchased on reservation. All exhibitors must have vaid public liability insurance, and relevant PAT test and gas safety certificates.

That’s why 95% of our sponsors and partners return each year, benefitting from fully integrated marketing social, print and digital platforms. In 2023 our paid and earned media had a combined reach of over 54 million, with a total PR value of over £1.5m.

Our Gold, Silver and Bronze sponsorship packages include prominent branding on site throughout the weekend, stall space, Festival website and brochure presence, inclusion in event advertising and PR activity, as well as editorial coverage.

We also welcome partnerships with businesses and organisations looking to tailor their support for the Festival through specific media and communications opportunities.
