The Dorset Seafood Festival is back on the harbour, and Weird Fish is back with it.
The iconic clothing brand has confirmed its return as a Bronze Sponsor for the 2026 festival (July 4th & 5th), marking a strong show of support as the event returns to its much loved harbourside setting in Weymouth.
The Dorset Seafood Festival 2026 will be set against Weymouth’s famous working harbour, in front of Weymouth’s iconic pavilion and extending along part of Weymouth’s Esplanade, bringing a fresh lay out, improving flow and opening up new space while keeping the atmosphere people expect.
Weird Fish will bring its laid back coastal style to the heart of the action. As the exclusive clothing brand at the festival, it sits naturally alongside the seafood, local producers and artisan traders that define the event.
Dan Marsland, Head of Marketing at Weird Fish said: “We are delighted to be back supporting the Dorset Seafood Festival as a Bronze Sponsor. The move back to the harbour feels right. It’s a fantastic event with a brilliant atmosphere, and it aligns perfectly with our coastal roots. We’re looking forward to meeting customers and being part of a proper celebration of Dorset.”
Beyond returning as a Bronze Sponsor, Weird Fish’s renewed involvement with Dorset Seafood Festival has helped reignite its wider events strategy. Conversations with the Festival team have supported the return of the brand’s dedicated events presence, with Dorset Seafood Festival leading the charge.
The Festival’s ongoing commitment to evolve, refine its footprint and strengthen the quality of its offer has given Weird Fish the confidence to reinvest in live events, not just in Weymouth but at select locations further afield. Dorset Seafood Festival has long acted as a catalyst for quality and commercial momentum, and its partnership approach continues to drive meaningful brand growth.
The Dorset Seafood Festival has seen a strong response from exhibitors, with around 65 pitches already confirmed and space nearly full. Organisers have focused on high quality seafood and carefully selected complementary brands.
Sophie Kermani, Director at Dorset Seafood Festival commented: “Having Weird Fish back as a Bronze Sponsor is a real vote of confidence for the Festival. Brands that understand the coast and our audience add genuine value. The return to the harbour has created fresh momentum, and we’re speaking to like minded partners who want to be part of something with scale, credibility and strong footfall.”
For brands looking to align with one of the South West’s most recognised food events, now is the time to get involved.
