What's on offer...

A visit to SEAFEAST - the award-winning Dorset Seafood Festival - offers an amazing opportunity to gain a better understanding of the superb seafood available to us just off our wonderful shores.    

For 2022, the event continues at the Weymouth Peninsula, taking place on 10th and 11th September. Offering delicious seafood, quality wines and local beers, as well as family entertainment, here’s a snapshot of what to expect:

Chef demo lineups to provisionally include:

Mark Hix, Mitch Tonks, Nigel Bloxham, Mike Naidoo, Duncan Lucas, Harriet Mansell and the wonderful Steven Lamb as compere.

Talented acoustic music acts to provisionally include:

Leggomen Trio, Nina Garcia, Carley Varley, Dorset Wrecks, Milk & Two, Finnian McGurk and Bashaviolin.

Whether you’re just happy to wander, sampling and enjoying great food and local produce, or whether you’d prefer to listen to seafood experts debate the future of our seas, there is something for everyone. 

With the emphasis on responsibly-sourced seafood from the region where possible, SEAFEAST helps raise money for the Fishermen’s Mission charity.

Travel to Weymouth is easy via South Western Railway or park and ride at the Mount Pleasant car park just out of town.
