The Bay Stage offers you the chance to learn more about preparing and cooking some spectacular seafood.

SATURDAY 11th September PROGRAMME
11.00

Gus Caslake. 
More than just a sandwich! Gus Caslake, the Bay Stage compére and South West Regional Manager of Seafish, will be talking to you about delicous crab! Learn how to pick and process a crab; you may even get the chance to give it a try!

Mark Woodhouse. 
Mark Woodhouse, Director of festival sponsor, Hall & Woodhouse, will be hosting fun and informative Badger beer and cheese pairing tutorials. Beers featured will include the newly launched Fropical Ferret, recently returned peachy classic Golden Glory, and the popular Golden Champion and Twice Tangled.

Dean Lawrence. 
Come along and meet two of the team from the Fishermen’s Mission charity. Hear about their excellent work within the community and the invaluable support they offer to fishing families across the UK.

Nigel Bloxham. 
Chef Proprietor of Billy Winters and the award-winning Crab House Café, Nigel will be preparing and cooking some wonderful fish and shellfish caught just yards from our shores, showcasing the variety of local seafood on offer that is not commonly seen on our plates.

Caroline Drever. 
With plenty of experience in all things crabby, Caroline will be showing us how to cook a fabulous crab dish. Dorset Shellfish operates two boats from Weymouth that fish for brown crab, lobster and line-caught bass.

The Fabulous Fish Auction. 
Don’t miss the fish auction in aid of the Fishermen’s Mission - take home some delicious fresh local fish!

Duncan Lucas. 
Duncan Lucas ‘The Camberley Ninja’, from Passionate About Fish, will be demonstratiing his lightening knife skills!

James Burger. 
New to the Festival this year is James Burger, Sous Chef at Butcombe Brewery’s High Corner Inn, Linwood, New Forest. James will be demonstrating his considerable culinary skills in preparing a brilliant brill dish.
