New for 2015, ‘The Hive Beach Cafe at Finn Square’ is looking forward to serving Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival visitors with a cosmopolitan menu of finest fish and seafood sourced from local suppliers in a restaurant environment overlooking the atmospheric Weymouth Harbour.
On Friday 10th, Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July, Executive Chef of The Hive Beach Cafe, Barry George and his crew, are taking over a raised area on Weymouth Harbour-side and transforming it into the first Seafood Festival pop up restaurant so get ready to chose from Lyme Bay Grilled Lobster Thermidor, Weymouth Crab Salad, Shellfish Platters and a selection of champagnes and wines from Pommery.
“The idea,” says Festival Chairman, Roger Dalton “is to offer visitors to the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival an alfresco dining experience at the heart of the festival where they can enjoy the best of local seafood with a lovely, relaxed, dining experience whilst enjoying the views.”
The Seafood Festival’s first pop up restaurant has become a reality due to support from Finn Square, which will be bringing over 75 new homes to the centre of Weymouth. Finn Square will enjoy coastal living in the heart of the town, from one bedroom apartments through to detached four bedroomed houses. “Finn Square offers affordable luxury homes just a stroll from the sea, so our association with the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival couldn’t be more appropriate” says Amy Nettleton, Aster Homes Head of Sales & Marketing.
