Clothing retailer, Weird Fish is on board for the fourth year running as a sponsor of the award winning Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival, 12th and 13th July 2014, Weymouth Harbour, Dorset.  

Marketing Manager, Dan Marsland said: “We are thrilled to be one of the main sponsors of the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival once again.  Having seen the festival go from strength to strength we love the fantastic food, setting and atmosphere that make this a very special event - and one we are proud to be involved with.”

Weird Fish is the only clothing retailer involved in the Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival,  joining over 100 stands offering delicious dishes of fresh seafood together with champagne bars  - hosted in the picturesque setting of Weymouth Harbour for the 7^th year to deliver the UK’s largest free seafood street food festival.

Festival Chairman, Roger Dalton said: “Established in 1993, Weird Fish owns 12 stores including one based in Weymouth and with their brand mantra of ‘Escape the Ordinary’ they represent a great fit with our growing Festival.”

Organisers are delighted that nearly all of their sponsors have returned to support again in 2014.  These include Pommery Champagne, Seafish, Piddle Brewery, ARA Wines and Lloyds Bank, with Dorset Dream Cottages and Tabasco as newcomers this year.  

Taking place over two days, the 2014 Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival will offer something for everyone.    Events include interactive seafood demonstrations, competitions, a music programme, whelk revival, champagne pouring activities, music, entertainment, expert food and wine matching – overseen by the smooth tones of broadcaster Neil Phillips, AKA ‘The Wine Tipster’.
