The award winning, 7th Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival welcomes funky Piddle Brewery as its official beer and bar sponsor at the free to attend event on 12th and 13th July 2014, Weymouth Harbour, Dorset.

Dorset based Piddle brewery confirmed its support as part of the company’s campaign to gain national recognition for its growing brand and is keen to work alongside confirmed sponsors to date which include Pommery Champagne and Lloyds Bank, with many more national brands about to confirm.

Rob Martin, Managing Director, Piddle Brewery will be encouraging visitors to quench their thirst within a welcoming, themed area offering a full range of beers and drinks including ‘Jimmy’, ‘Piddle’, ‘Cocky’, ‘Slasher’ and ‘No 1’.   “The vibrant Seafood Festival is a perfect match for Dorset’s funkiest brewers.  We are chuffed to be a part of it.  Love Seafood – love a good Piddle!” said Rob.

This year’s event took place in blazing sunshine and generated the biggest crowds seen in its 6-year history. A crowd estimated in excess of 50,000 people enjoyed Pommery Champagne, seafood and associated goods from the 90 stands situated around Weymouth’s stunning harbour-side.

Festival Chairman, Roger Dalton commented “it’s great to have the growing Dorset brand of Piddle Bewery behind the event in 2014.  We have worked hard to attract a major sponsorship deal with a Dorset brewery - and long may our association continue.”

The 2014 Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival offers something for everyone.    Events include interactive demonstrations from a fabulous line up of passionate chefs including Dorset’s very own - line up to be confirmed soon.   These will be complemented by Pommery champagne pouring demonstrations, expert wine matching and entertaining filleting demonstrations by Duncan and Sue Lucas from Passionate About Fish.

The Fishermen’s Mission is the chosen beneficiary of money raised from the 2014 Pommery Dorset Seafood Festival.
